It occurs to me that while I've seen The Thin Man (quite a few times at this point), I haven't read the detective novel by Dashiell Hammett that first introduced us to the witty, cocktail-loving, crime-solving duo. I've just added it to my summer reading list (best homework ever?), and can't wait to dig in.
