Amorino Gelateria Debuts Cart Truck Mobile Location in the Seaport
Two attendants are required to operate the new concession -- though both must arrive by separate means, as you can see from the small cab.
Fork in the Road's third favorite gelateria in town, Amorino, has established a mobile location in the South Street Seaport in a very Italian vehicle that looks like it's barely evolved from a motorcycle. You see farmers driving them all over Tuscany.
The thing is parked on the cobbles at Fulton and Front streets, and has a slightly truncated list of the gelati and sorbetti vended at the main location in Greenwich Village.
If you work way downtown, the gelato is worth the hike, and there's nothing that quite matches it anywhere else south of City Hall.
