Kent Ale House is a new spot found in the desolate parts of Williamsburg on Kent Avenue and gives you the option to build your own burger or hot dog, among some other classed-up bar foods. On a recent Sunday evening, I enjoyed my own customized beefy goodness--topped with bacon, blue cheese, and avocado--matched with a mess of sweet potato fries. The burger starts at $10 (veggie and bison are available as well, but are priced a bit higher) and the toppings vary in prices, from $.50 to $2. I enjoyed myself a Left Hand Milk Stout with dinner, too, one of their 24 beers on tap. All that combined with a decent amount of sidewalk seating, it won't be too long before this joint's appetizing scent catches the noses of those fresh Williamsburg faces. But until then, it's a wonderful, welcoming unpretentious pub.
