Wasabi To Bring Individually Wrapped Sushi To NYC

Another Asian transplant is coming into town. This time it's in the form of Wasabi, a London-based sushi and bento chain that specializes in individually wrapped pieces of sushi.
Wasabi will open its flagship branch at 561 Seventh Ave in the spring of 2013. The restaurant includes 2,200 square feet on the ground floor and mezzanine level, with seating for in-house dining.
This won't be their only branch in the states. According to the press release, the "two-floor flagship space will pave the way for other Manhattan locations the company plans to open over the next 18-24 months."
