Bacon Maple Syrup From Smucker's
There has been a lot of bacon-flavored sweets going around in the past couple of months. For one, there's New York's first bacon bakery and then this thing they called the bacon sundae. ![]()
Smucker's
Has the bacon trend been overdone?
Smucker's has jumped on the bacon bandwagon and recently released its own line of bacon syrup. It's called Maple Bacon Syrup.
From the website: "Bring fresh excitement to the day with the NEW Smuckers® Maple Bacon flavored syrup, a unique combination of two popular breakfast flavors. When you include Smucker's in your menu, you are serving a brand with 100 years of family-made goodness and a brand people prefer in their homes."
We're not really sure where the bacon flavor is from, though. According to the packaging, the product is made of corn syrup, high-fructose corn syrup, water, natural and artificial flavor, salt, and caramel color.
Probably somewhere in between the natural and artificial flavor?
