Are smartphones the new credit cards?
Dunkin' Donuts recently launched a app for payment on the iPhone, iPod touch, and Android smartphones. This isn't anything new (Starbucks does this), but its best feature is that you can buy gift cards on the app.
The program allows customers to send $2 to $200 dollars' worth of Dunkin' Donuts goods to friends via text, e-mail, or Facebook Connect.
You can pay directly with your virtual gift card, and for those who are conscious of calories, nutritional information for all products is also included.
