Fish Tacos: $9
This hidden gem on the Williamsburg/Greenpoint line is just that: a gem. Sure, it isn't all that pretty, but for what it lacks in flash, it makes up for in both quality and quantity. After ordering delivery, fish tacos arrived promptly, stuffed with an obscene amount of pico de gallo, rice, beans, lime, and of course, fish. The tacos actually weren't that spicy, but to my surprise, the flakey fish delivered interesting flavors on its own, without the need to burn up my mouth. You may not see Florentina's at the top of any "Important Restaurant Lists" from Important Publications, but good, solid Mexican food for next to nothing is hard to beat.
