Is Jay-Z Suing His Personal Chef Over Chicken Wings?

We reported earlier this week that Jay-Z filed a $1.5 million lawsuit against his former private chef at 40/40. The New York Post claims that the entire argument is over a secret-spice recipe for chicken wings.

A source told the Post that chef Mike Shand left "taking the recipes to popular menu items such as chicken wings, forcing the club to sue."
But Shand's lawyer claimed otherwise:
"The spice-mix recipe that Mike developed is his own recipe. 40/40 terminated him, then had the audacity to sue him for his recipes. He gave them all apart from this spice mix because it is his own. Mike had a wonderful relationship with Jay-Z and Beyonce for many years."
That chicken wing better be really good, or at least worth $1.5 million.
