Free Pickle, Mustard, and Herring Ice Cream at Ripley's

Another free ice cream deal. But don't expect the standard vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry. . . . The vendor is Ripley's Believe It or Not!, and, of course, that by default implies really weird flavors.

"At Ripley's Times Square we've mastered the unexpected and with flavors like horseradish . . . people will literally scream for ice cream," Michael Hirsch, president and general manager of Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square, says in the press release.

Known flavors include pickle, mustard, herring, curry, and pizza. Here's the twist: You can't even choose which one you get.

Guests visiting the Odditorium from noon to 6 p.m. will be invited to take a spin on the Wacky Wheel of Ice "Screams" to receive a free sample cone.

If you finish your ice cream tasting (or at least make a valiant effort trying), you will get half-price admission to the museum on Friday, August 17.
