More exciting details are in about Brooklyn Pour, the Village Voice's second annual beer festival, coming up on Saturday, October 6 at Skylight One Hanson.

The outdoor food court will turn out beer-friendly snacks like sausages and pretzels from Der Schwarze Kolner, chili dogs from Lucky 777, sliders from Chez Lola, and tacos from Bed-Stuy's Stable House Bar & Café.

The demo lineup has also been announced: Sixpoint Brewery and beer writer Joshua M. Bernstein will be chatting about fall beer trends; Jimmy Carbone of Jimmy's No. 43 will lead a cooking demo; Brooklyn Brew Shop will offer a homebrewing demo; and Brooklyn Brine and Dogfish Head Brewery will team up for a pickling demo (you may remember the two companies joined forces on a Hop Pickle earlier this year)

BP tells us they've brought on five more brewers, too:

Atlantic Brewing Company
Lakefront Brewery
Dark Horse Brewing Co.
Penn Brewery
Davidson Brothers Brewing Co.
Innis & Gunn

VIP tickets are sold out for the first session, but general admission tickets are still available along with VIP tickets for session 2. And keep an eye out for ticket giveaways here on Fork in the Road!

@alysonrmartin Visited the Long Trail brewery a few months ago in VT. Definitely worth a visit one day if you haven't been.

@thesteveking Haven't had the chance to visit, but I've had one of their mixed packs and liked most of them.
