Talk Like a Pirate, Get a Free Krispy Kreme

We love absurd food holidays, especially when there are free giveaways involved. Wednesday, September 19 is "Talk Like a Pirate Day," and Krispy Kreme is giving any buccaneer who enters its stores talking like a pirate a free doughnut.

The lad or lass who comes in wearing full pirate attire gets a free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts.

The rules:

1) Talk like a pirate or wear an eye patch to a participating Krispy Kreme shop for one free Original Glazed doughnut.

2) Come to a participating Krispy Kreme location in full pirate costume for one free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts. (No weapons allowed.)

The offer is good for one free doughnut per customer who wears an eye patch or talks like a pirate to a Krispy Kreme team member at a participating shop. One free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts per customer who wears a full pirate costume into a participating Krispy Kreme location. Redeemable on September 19, 2012, only at participating Krispy Kreme U.S. locations.
