It's Saturday! Drink the Trunk Bay Cooler from Beloved: Dish #32

Sure, sure, we spend much of our time on Fork in the Road recommending delicious bites across the city for you--but it's the weekend so we're not eating, we're drinking! After all, #yolo, right? Earlier this week, I stopped by a new-ish bar in Greenpoint called Beloved (which, in the interest of full-disclosure, a friend of mine owns) and enjoyed one of their cocktails, the Truck Bay Cooler, made up of Gosling's rum, lime, pineapple, allspice dram, and nutmeg. Don't be afraid of how pretty it looks and think it will taste like kool-aid, though, because it's not too sweet. The fresh-squeezed pineapple juice blends elegantly with the rum, offering a nice, even, fruity taste.
