Alex Bogusky used to create highly successful ads for clients including food industry giants such as Coca-Cola. But now he's fighting the powerful soda brand campaigns that associate sugary beverages with happiness and health.

Bogusky has teamed up with the Center for Science in the Public Interest on The Real Bears, a three-and-a-half minute animation which parodies the well-known Coca-Cola polar bears.

The video begins sweetly with a family drinking bottles of soda, but then touches on how tooth decay, obesity, erectile dysfunction, and diabetes burden these cartoon bears. The video is dark, but it's set to a fizzy, lighthearted tune by Jason Mraz.
