Con Edison will distribute dry and wet ice to six locations this afternoon for those without power.

Dry ice can be used to cool frozen foods that might be rotting in refrigerators without power. See Con Ed's safety guidelines here.

Brooklyn
Walgreen's, 532 Neptune Avenue (between West 5th and 6th streets)

The Bronx
1200 Waters Place, at the entrance to the Hutchinson Metro Center

Queens
121-10 Rockaway Boulevard

Staten Island
The entrance to Great Kills Park on Buffalo Street

Westchester County
Yonkers Raceway, 810 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers

Wet Ice
Manhattan
Union Square Park, Union Square East and East 17th Street

Those without running water can also fill up jugs or large containers at on-the-go drinking fountains from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day until further notice. The fountains will be at these six locations in Manhattan:
23rd Street and Eighth Avenue
23rd Street and Second Avenue
14th Street and Eighth Avenue
Houston Street and Sixth Avenue
Canal Street and Centre Street
Monroe Street

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE..... SOMEONE FORGOT ABOUT FLUSHING BETWEEN 164TH, PIDGION MEADOW ROAD AND UNDERHILL AVENUE. USUAL WE ARE FORGOT IN ANY OUTAGE AND ANY STORM HOWEVER WE HAVE BEEN PATIENT AND CON ED HAS KNOW FOR YEARS THIS IS A BLACK HOLE WHEN IT COMES TO POWER RESTORATION.............WE HAVE BEEN PATIENT BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT OTHERES IN THE CITY AND THE STATE HAVE BEEN HIT WORSE THAN US BUT IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE THAT WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THEIR ESTIMATED DATE OF NOVEMBER 10TH. HELP US NOW!!!!!!!
