Eating Like Marilyn Monroe

Rebecca Harrington, who previously experimented with Liz Taylor's "controlled pig-out" sessions (alternating with dips and Dover sole), recently ate like Marilyn Monroe for 10 days.

Monroe revealed her eating habits to Pageant magazine in 1952 and they involved starting each day with two raw eggs whipped into some warm milk (Harrington, fearing salmonella, purchased pasteurized eggs and found the concoction weirdly tasty). Monroe apparently skipped lunch and enjoyed a monotonous dinner of broiled liver, steak, or lamb, with five carrots, followed by a hot-fudge sundae. It doesn't sound like a harmful crash diet, but as Harrington finds out, skipping meals is the worst. [The Cut]

Does the article mention the use of dietary supplements to curb her appetite between breakfast and dinner?
