The Best NYC Hurricane Sandy Tweets, Food Edition

As Hurricane Sandy took hold of many of New York's restaurants and caused horrific damage across the city, Twitter was aflutter. Restaurateurs, chefs, and beloved eateries responded with news about their businesses and their whereabouts.

Bobby Flay braved the water on Sunday with some Food Network pals. Cool Haus reports that they're all fine in Bushwick. Red Hook Lobster Pound had severe damage in their pound, but later they tweeted that Brooklyn Brine lent the pound some freezer space. Governor in DUMBO floods and many followers tweet well wishes. Tom Colicchio gave his staff some comfort food. Paula Deen sends some Southern prayer our way. ABC Kitchen stayed open as long as they could.
