The New York Post reports that food trucks are beginning to make deliveries in New York today. Downtown shoppers might have to "make the trek uptown to restock their shelves," but most stores are back in business.
Grub Street continues to update its list of the city's back-in-business restaurants, including many serving in neighborhoods without power. Support NYC restaurants, put down the pita chips and start dining out again.
Bon Appetit gives the rundown on how to volunteer in this post-Sandy haze.
HuffPo talks to restaurateurs who's spots were devastated by the storm. Among the most affected were Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich. "This is so much worse than any of us could've expected," Bastianich told the site.
WSJ learns about the great lengths restaurant owners were willing to go to in order to reopen their establishments after the storm. A few proprietors have been driving their staff to and from their homes.
