Served in a colored Waterford Mixology tumbler
The weather is cooler, the leaves are changing, and what better way to celebrate than an apple-cider-based cocktail? The Crystal Fall is a seasonal special from the Clover Club in Brooklyn. Created by mixologist Julie Reiner, the cocktail made its debut today -- along with other spirits mixed with fall flavors like cinnamon, apples, beets, and cranberries.

The drink: Crystal Fall

The bar: Clover Club

The price: $12

The ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces Pierre Ferrand 1840, 1/2 ounce Lemon Hart Demerara rum, 1/4 ounce Lustau Palo Cortado sherry, 3/4 ounce fresh pressed apple cider, 1/2 ounce lemon juice, 1/4 ounce ginger syrup, one bar spoonful Demerara syrup, one dash Angostura bitters.

The process: Shake with ice and strain over crushed ice in a tumbler. Garnish with a apple fan.

Sounds righteous! Two things though. Demerara is misspelled. And Lemon Hart (two words) makes an overproof 151 as well as their "Original."
