Wylie Dufresne Is Opening a Second Restaurant

Ten years after opening his world-renowned restaurant, wd-50, which our critic recently reviewed, chef Wylie Dufresne will be opening a second restaurant in New York's East Village in the spring of 2013. 
According to Grub Street, Alder will be a 50-seat pub just blocks away from Momofuku Ssam Bar. The name Alder is also the Old English analog for Ellery, the name of Dufresne's daughter.
The restaurant will be at 157 Second Avenue.
