San Francisco filmmaker Brandon Loper has released a trailer for his latest project, A Film About Coffee, which focuses on the current bean and brew obsession existing on the West Coast.

Loper has brought on James Freeman from Blue Bottle Coffee and Eileen Hassi from Ritual Coffee Roasters, both S.F. locals and coffee gods, to narrate the captivating and beautiful piece. The film does not yet have a release date, though some early clips of the crew navigating their way through Japan and Honduras suggest that Loper dreams about coffee the way Jiro did sushi. Just more evidence to convince me that coffee makes for an awesome beverage but mind-numbingly boring video.

@RickNakama My noodle project doesn't sound so far-fetched now, if there's a film on coffee...
