Andy Ricker Brings Whiskey Soda Lounge to Brooklyn

Brooklandiayn is getting a new bar this spring. Andy Ricker, owner of Pok Pok Ny, told the NY Times earlier this week that, come spring 2013, he'll open an East Coast offshoot of his popular Portland bar, Whiskey Soda Lounge, at 115 Columbia Street.
Ricker divulged little about the project except that it will be similar to its Portland predecessor and that the drink-focused establishment will offer a handful of "spicy-salty-sour" group-friendly snacks. Ricker's trademark fish sauce-heavy wings will also be on the menu. Phew.
