Crab Spot in Park Slope opened this week and is serving seafood pots and surf and turf. According to their Twitter, the grand opening special is Maryland Blue Crabs. Free drink with your entree, they promise. 33 Union St.

The newest addition to Kips Bay is a much-anticipated Fairway. The grocery store opened this morning and claimed, "The world wouldn't dare end!" The chain offered this video as a sneak peak into the new space. They'll also deliver to pretty much anywhere in Manhattan for under $10. 550 Second Ave.

Bien Cuit, the bakery in Boerum Hill, has opened an outpost in the West Village. There are some new additions to the menu like potpies filled with artichokes, potatoes, olives, and cheese, and a buche de Noel, a divine dessert of dark chocolate, macarons, and chocolate mousse. 35 Christopher St.

The East Village got a new BBQ joint from Micha Magid and Hugh Mangum, of Smorgasburg staple Mighty Quinn's. The stand opened up a storefront on Second Avenue, in the Vandaag's old digs. The menu features BBQ classics like brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. Drunk foodies celebrate. They're open until 2 a.m. Thursday thru Sunday. 103 Second Ave.
