Num Pang brings Cambodian sandwiches to Flatiron.

Num Pang opened its third outpost on Wednesday near Flatiron. This Cambodian-inspired sandwich shop will have a beer and wine license, and a few new items have appeared on the menu: rice bowls with pork or grilled fish, and vermicelli noodle bowls topped with egg, peanuts, and coconut shrimp, pork or steak. Grub Street reported that a "Cambodian Sangria" made with wine, lychee, papaya, mango, lemongrass, and ginger will be available too. 1129 Broadway

Just Salad opened its first Brooklyn location, in Park Slope. It's been quietly serving greens all week but will have a grand-opening event on Saturday. Customers will get a free Vitamin Water with purchase and two-for-one deals will apply for salads and wraps. 252 Seventh Ave., Brooklyn

Kerry Diamond and Robert Newton of Seersucker and Smith Canteen are bringing Vietnamese food to Carroll Gardens, according to Flo Fab. Nightingale 9, the new spot on Smith Street, is said to be inspired by a trip Newton took to Vietnam last summer and will include traditional rice bowls and noodle soups. Newton's southern background is not lost at Nightingale 9 -- the kitchen uses Bourbon Barrel soy sauce fermented in repurposed bourbon barrels in Kentucky. The restaurant opens today. 345 Smith St.

Cantine Parisienne opened in the Nolitan Hotel this week. The space used to house Ellabess; the new tenant describes itself as a "modern, accessible French Bistro" and chef Marcel Angez is at the helm. Items on the menu include duck confit and croques monsieur. Maxime Paul-Mercier, one of the restaurant's partners, has been uploading photos of renovations and dishes to his Instagram for months. 40 Kenmare St.
