Park Slope Neapolitan pizzeria Franny's is picking up and moving a few blocks down from its original address, and Sunday will be its last night slinging pies at 295 Flatbush Ave. After that the space will undergo construction to become Marco's, a new endeavor from the Franny's team. Expect Italian cuisine -- but no pizza -- by September.

Fans of the thin-crust pizza -- particularly the justly famous clam pie -- and pasta dishes will have to wait until Monday, April 8 to try out the new digs at 348 Flatbush Ave., which promises to be much larger, so diners might not have to wait as long for a table. Bigger parties will be able to make reservations.

Fork in the Road once deemed the rustic Italian joint one of our 10 Best Places to Take Mom, and found the Greenmarket Gin & Tonic, a classic cocktail gussied up with seasonal local veggies, to be a perfect springtime sipper. Good thing Franny's will return in time for Mother's Day and the warm months ahead, when we need those refreshing cocktails the most.
