The James Beard Foundation announced the prestigious 2013 JBF Awards nominees this morning on a livestream broadcast and on its Twitter feed. Chefs, restaurateurs, cookbook authors, and food journalists were honored with nominations. Our own Tejal Rao was nominated for the Craig Claiborne Award for restaurant criticism, for her stylish columns on Pok Pok NY, Per Se and 606 R&D.
The Craig Claiborne Award is given in honor of the former New York Times restaurant critic and recognizes the best criticism in the country. Congratulations, Tejal!
