Expect Dos Toros Taqueria burritos in Williamsburg next week

Sugar and Plumm is opening its second location today on Bleecker Street. The original location on the Upper West Side is known for its French macarons, and the downtown outpost will also serve the various flavors: salted caramel, pistachio, rosewater, and passionfruit. Other pastries like croissants and brownies will also be available. 257 Bleecker Street

Dos Toros Taqueria, the Mission-style grab-and-go burrito joint, will open its first Brooklyn location next Wednesday, April 3. The chain has locations in Union Square, the West Village, and the Upper East Side, and the new joint is expected to serve the same tacos, burritos, and bowls. The menu will also feature locally brewed beer from Brooklyn Brewery or Sixpoint. 189 Bedford Avenue

The old Milk and Honey space on the Lower East Side has been transformed into Attaboy, a speakeasy-style cocktail lounge from Sam Ross and Michael McIlroy, both formerly of Milk and Honey. Hopeful drinkers must make a reservation, and there's no set menu--just tell the bartender what you're craving. All cocktails are $16. Eater reports that the bar opens every night at 6:45 p.m. 134 Eldridge Street

Cherrywood Kitchen, a new Soho restaurant serving American cuisine, opened last week. Chef Chris Cheung is an alum of Nobu and Jean Georges, and offers crawfish with Chinese sausage, braised-bacon soup, and eel-stuffed chicken at the new restaurant on Spring Street. As the name implies, some dishes are indeed cooked over cherrywood. 300 Spring Street
