Luna Sur Latin Bistro Opens in Hell's Kitchen; Calexico Comes to the Lower East Side

Luna Sur Latin Bistro opened last week in Hell's Kitchen. The menu features Latin flavors with a mix of Peruvian, Spanish, Mexican, and Cuban dishes like empanadas, tacos, croquettes, and arroz con pollo. European motorcycle-themed eatery Ton Up Cafe opened in the East Village, according to The Local EV. Owners Riccardo Pieroni and Federico Lopez Stefanelli designed the place after "café racers" who rode their bikes between cafés in Europe. Salads and crostini are named after bike companies, while panini names pay homage to superstars like Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley. 127 St. Marks Place

Boulevard Bistro opened yesterday on Lenox Avenue, Harlem Bespoke learned. The café serves breakfast and baked goods starting at 7 a.m., and is open for lunch and dinner. Calexico, the taco cart turned mini-chain, will open a new location on Thursday on the Lower East Side, Bowery Boogie reported.
