If you haven't made s'mores yet, now's your chance
It's almost a wrap on another week, and it's time to start thinking about how to take advantage of the next 48 hours. Here's a look at our top weekend activities, which will help you indulge your inner--or actual--child.

Queens Farm BBQ & Campout, Queens County Farm Museum, 73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Queens, Friday, 6 p.m.

Most museums are for indoors-y types, The Queens County Farm Museum invites campers to pack their tents and enjoy a night outside. Attendees will have the chance to taste the farm's home-grown vegetables as well as BBQ by Dickson's Farmstand and suds from Brooklyn Brewery. The event will happen rain or shine, and campers are advised to bring their own blankets and camping supplies. Reserve your spot around the camp fire, and don't forget to pack an original ghost story.

Sweet Spot Festival, Jackie Robinson Bandshell, Saturday, noon

This free summer series features a selection of family friendly activities plus live music and dance in celebration of African culture. Treats from a selection of vendors will be available; look for Mighty Meaty, which specializes in Jamaican sandwiches such as oxtail on coconut flavored "CoCo" bread. There's also be an after party at Silvana for those whose dance moves work up an appetite.

Aguardiente Party, Cafecito Bogota, 1015 Manhattan Avenue, Brooklyn, Saturday

In celebration of Colombian Independence Day, Cafecito Bogota will pair its Colombian fare with $5 aguardiente cocktails. The sugar cane spirit, often infused with various juices like Passion Fruit, will also be available as a $3 shot special for those wishing to try the popular Colombian product in its purest form.
