Looking for warmth? Eastern European comfort food and unlimited "mimorsas" may help
The weekend is just about here, which means it's time to head out for celebratory end-of-week drinks -- and then figure out a brunch place where you can ease out of that hangover. A few suggestions for the second part of that equation:

Bottomless
Korchma Taras Bulba, 357 West Broadway, Sunday, 10:30 a.m.

Isn't it about time you get around to sampling Ukrainian food? For $30, receive unlimited Ukrainian-style mimosas ("mimorsas" made with fresh berries) along with a selection of items from a prix fixe brunch menu. The restaurant specializes in a variety of eastern European comfort food like pierogies, blinis, and sirniki (cottage cheese latkes) with choice of topping. The offer is available throughout the day; reservations can be made in advance online or by contacting the restaurant.

Cheap
House of Small Wonder, 77 North 6th Street, Brooklyn, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.

This tiny relocated cafe has settled in nicely, attracting a crowd with sandwiches, croissants, a croque madam, and an organic egg scramble sandwich. Brunch and lunch items are available all day long, and most entrees are priced under $15. A selection of cocktails and Japanese beer -- most of which are all priced under $10 -- is also available.

All-You-Can-Eat
B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, 237 West 42nd Street, Sunday, 10:30 a.m.

If unlimited bacon appeals to you more than unlimited bellinis, head up to Times Square on a Sunday. For an all-inclusive $42, sit back and eat up all the food you can handle while listening to the sounds of the Harlem Gospel Choir during a live performance. Items on the southern brunch menu include french toast, bacon and eggs, and cornmeal-crusted catfish. The offer also includes unlimited coffee, tea, and juice.

Classic NYC
Cornelia Street Café, 29 Cornelia Street, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.

If you're looking for classic West Village weekend scene, this restaurant and performance venue is a quintessential Manhattan spot. Diners can select from a $20 prix fixe menu where they'll receive a choice of baked bread, entree, cocktail, and coffee or tea. A la carte dishes are also available, and if brunch runs really long, you might stick around for an evening performance. This weekend features The Tango-Fado Project ($15 with one drink included); the show starts at 6 p.m.
