Cheap Drinks at Iron Horse, Fat Buddha, Plug Uglies, and Murphy's Oyster Bar
Nice of daylight savings to give us that extra hour in the morning and all, but if you aren't excited about nighttime creeping up on us just a bit earlier, take solace in a sweet drink deal. After all, no matter what the clock says, happy hour is always a nice escape.

Iron Horse, 32 Cliff Street
With cheap drinks, food, and dancing bartenders, Wall Street types have a place to loosen their suits once the market closes. From opening until 8 p.m., take down $2 PBRs, Natty Lights, or Rolling Rocks. If you happen to be
burning the midnight oil working banking hours, not to worry: The price jumps all the way up to $3 after 8 p.m. There are also all-day specials, like a $6 shot-and-brew combo and a $10 burger-and-pint offering.
Fat Buddha, 212 Avenue A
From 5 to 10 p.m., stock up on $2 edamame and $7 pork buns while you sip $7 lychee martinis and $4 select beer, wine, and well drinks at the bar. The venue features a rotating list of DJs as well as a late-night menu full of items made for sharing, like chili pepper fries, for those looking to extend the party.
Plug Uglies, 257 Third Avenue
With a name reminiscent of New York's grittier past, the only gang you'll find here is the one showing up for free shuffleboard and cheap drinks. From 1 to 7 p.m., select bottled and draft beers and well drinks are $4. Check out the pool table if you're handy with a cue; the low key atmosphere makes this an ideal happy hour spot to grab a brew and engage in a little friendly competition.
Murphy's Oyster Bar, 48-20 Skillman Avenue, Queens
With live Irish music on weekends and in-season oyster specials, expect this spot to be lively. Wednesday night features two-for-one drink specials, $3 Bud Light, and $3.50 glasses of wine for ladies from 7 p.m. until midnight, and anyone can order up a bar pie and beer for $10 until 7 p.m.
