If you haven't had your dose of fondue this winter, dig into all the melted cheese you can handle this Friday evening. This workshop will cover some top recipes and show you how to make the romantic dish at home. Wine will also be served at the event to ensure you don't burn your tongue. Get tickets.

If day drinking is your favorite weekend activity, head over to Red Hook for a chance to sample some bad ass California wines and meet author Jon Bonne as well as several winemakers. Copies of Bonne's book will be available for purchase and signing. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased through the winery's event website. If you're up for making a day of it in Red Hook, the Widow Jane Distillery is also nearby.

Awards season making you crave a night at the movies? Check out this feel-good story about a man's search for the ultimate chicken wing. After the movie, director Matt Reynolds will conduct a Q and A session, and several of the film's stars will be in attendance. Best of all, a buffalo wings tasting is included in your $10 ticket.
2014 Three Kings Day Coquito Trolley Crawl, multiple locations, Bronx, Sunday, 1 p.m.
For $25, guests can enjoy a leisurely trolley ride through the Concourse, Melrose, and Mott Haven neighborhoods of the Bronx, with stops at some of the areas top local vendors. Samples of coquito, an eggnog-style drink, will also be served, and attendees will be able to taste entrants from the 2013 Coquito Masters competition and purchase the beverage.
