When one restaurant's doors close, another restaurant's doors open in fast-paced New York City, and every Friday, we'll fill you in on what opened up around town this week. This week: A Korean-Japanese ramen noodle bar in Chelsea Market, an Italian pasta joint in the former Peels space, and a true farm-to-table restaurant in the West Village.

Bar Primi, 325 Bowery, 212-220-9100

Located in the former Peels location, Bar Primi is an Italian pasta shop with a kitchen run by chefs Andrew Carmellini and Sal Lamboglia. The menu includes the classics like spaghetti and linguine as well as seasonal dishes like penne with summer squash and spring onions or ricotta ravioli with asparagus and spinach. The Italian wine list is extensive, with many options offered by the glass. Bar Primi is currently open for dinner only and is closed on Sundays.

Bâtard, 239 West Broadway, 212-219-2777

Restauranteur Drew Nieporent is back at 239 West Broadway, which previously housed Montrachet and Corton, with Bâtard, a modern European restaurant. We spoke to Nieporent earlier this week, and he told us, "What I'm trying to do here is great food, first and foremost. Montrachet had a tremendous history, but it ran its course. Corton received every accolade, but it fell into the category of too precious. Bâtard is in the middle. They were both stellar places, and I want to do something that carries on that tradition." Austria-native Markus Glocker will be commandeering the kitchen. Bâtard is now open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner.

Blenheim, 283 West 12th Street, 212-243-7073

Morten Sohlberg and Min Ye take farm-to-table seriously, and their new restaurant is supplied entirely by their 150 acres of farmland in the Catskills. Chef Justin Hilbert cooks whatever is in season, and right now, you'll find the menu riddled with fiddlehead ferns, radishes, and wood pigeon with boiled peanuts. Cocktails also get a local spin; Jonathan Russell uses ingredients like tree sap and herbs from the land. Blenheim is open for dinner daily.
