Pill Popping

I was at a friend's apartment last night, and just before we were about to walk over the Wilco concert, she started offering pills around. Not those kind of pills—these were little green gel caps called Eat Whatever, full of peppermint and parsley oils. You know those horrible, embarrassing burps you get after you have a garlicky or oniony meal? Swallow these pills after a meal, and they render your burps minty fresh all night. I was skeptical, but I tried them, and they worked. And they make burping sort of...weirdly enjoyable. Maybe I was high after all.
