Crazy Legs Conti: Competitive Movie Watcher?
The International Federation of Competitive Eating sent me a press release on an upcoming competition yesterday, but it doesn't involve food. Apparently, starting on October 2, eight competitors, including Crazy Legs Conti, will compete in the Netflix Popcorn Bowl--a movie-watching championship. The competitors will sit in a plexi-glass "living room" in the middle of Times Square and will watch movies continuously for something like 5 days. (The world record, 120 hours, is held by Ashish Sharma, who will be defending his title.)
The rules of the game: You can't take your eyes off the screen for more than a few seconds, and between each movie there's a 10 minute break. No sleeping.
Dale and Thomas will be providing all-you-can-eat popcorn. Someone better tell them Crazy Legs is coming.
