Sharlene's Bar Replaces Mooney's in Prospect Heights

Mooney's, the ancient, beloved dive bar on Flatbush Avenue closed last summer, pushed out, reportedly, by rising rents, that common, sad story. Sharlene's has emerged in it's place, and seems pretty close to opening. The intel from Brooklynian is that the place is owned by one of the bartenders from Commonwealth, a neighborhood pub in South Slope, and that it will open tomorrow.
