​Where do ice cream trucks go in the winter? If you were walking along Fifth Avenue near the Guggenheim yesterday, you might have noticed this intrepid Mister Softee truck, which has embraced the colder weather by transforming into a Mister Soup.

Mister Soup serves all manner of warming stuff, from clam chowder and mushroom soup, to black bean chili and hot tea. An employee at the Mister Softee headquarters said that this was the first she had heard of Mister Soup, and that it is not an organized effort on the part of the company to branch out into cold-weather foods.
