Park Slope Mainstay Miracle Grill Appears To Be Closed

The Miracle Grill, which opened on Seventh Avenue in Park Slope in 2005, is apparently closed. Only the Blog Knows Brooklyn reports that it shuttered on Sunday, noting that prior to the restaurant's tenancy, the space had a high turnover rate.

The Park Slope Miracle Grill was one of two sister locations of the East Village Miracle Grill, which pioneered Southwestern cuisine in the city and employed Bobby Flay as its very first chef. The East Village outpost closed in 2005, and its Bleecker Street location followed in February of this year. Although the Park Slope outpost's website is still up and eerily cheerful, it looks like Seventh Avenue habitues will have to look elsewhere for margaritas and poached eggs with chipotle hollandaise.

3-4 years is a mainstay? I suppose compared to the monthly turnovers happening there over the preceding decade.
