It took a while but you guessed it. I was eating at Gusto Ristorante e Bar Americano, a cozy, rustic Italian joint in the West Village. It's great for brunch and they have one hour unlimited cocktails (the bellini is divine).

The dish pictured here is the cianfotta -- two poached eggs with zucchini, peppers, potatoes, tomato, and basil ($15).

That was too easy. I was eating at Hospoda, a classy Central European restaurant located on the Upper East Side known for their crafty beer. The dish here is the seared scallops with fennel, grapefruit, and cilantro.
