M.I.A. Cleared To Play Siren on Saturday
On the exiled musicians tip, the official word from the Interscope camp is that M.I.A.'s actually, truly, really coming to Saturday's Siren Music Festival. Tom Breihan got Maya on the phone a couple weeks ago for the print version of this operation and if all goes well, we'll be seeing Arulpragasam around the city a lot more—she's still paying rent Brooklyn.
Nevertheless, don't suggest you miss her first U.S. show in a minute this Saturday. If you're busy attending a seance in Jersey or something, she's also got a headlining date at Studio B lined up next Wednesday, July 25. Fingers crossed this all works out. Full Siren schedule here.
