While RZA continues his trek into the wilds of choruses sung by ladies in patchwork pants, broken-sounding old men, and dudes he almost surely plays chess with on "Life is Movie," this new track from GZA’s brand-new Pro Tools—which adds Gary Numan, of all people, to RZA’s hooksmen pantheon—is otherwise unfadeable. Check for bass sample that kicks in, absurdly loud, right after GZA’s first verse: "Films" never knocked nearly this hard. Pretty sure I’m ready to say this is better than a single thing on Digi-Snacks.
