Yes, Autolux has cancelled their Saturday-night pre-Polvo slot at this weekend's All Tomorrow's Parties NY. If you've been paying attention to the Los Angeles trio over the years, you're probably as frustrated as us: Autolux haven't released a full-length since 2004's sublime Future Perfect, and though they teased us this past spring with the web-only release of “Audience 2” (available to download here for free, though they're rightfully asking for $1 PayPal donations), there's still no 2008 jump-off date for the long-awaited FP follow-up Transit Transit. And now they've cancelled this rare moment of resurrective grandeur. A heartfelt congrats on the bantling and all that, but how about that next record?
