In what will almost surely be a pair of completely face-melting concerts, violin drone wizard and Dream Syndicate veteran Tony Conrad and Psychic TV vet Genesis P-Orridge are combining in a "meeting of two fabulous violins" this coming Saturday and Sunday at ISSUE Project Room. Conrad's concerts are consistently amazing: slow, gradually changing drones that eventually drag time to a near halt. P-Orridge, whose last twenty years were spent enduring surgery to make his body more like that of his second wife, Lady Jaye, and vice-versa, has his own way of making a scene. The two are both difficult and very easy to imagine on the same stage. Someone, surely, will have a seizure.
