• Actually, the bears in these pictures are having an awful time. It's hard to tell in this picture, but the bear is actually chained to the horse by a hook forced through the soft flesh of its nose to give it "incentive" to not fall off the horse. As a bonus, to keep the bear from biting the horse, all of its teeth have been ripped out of its face. It's probably also had its claws removed. I'm normally entertained by all sorts of sick jokes and corrupt fictitious treatment of others, but this picture actually made my stomach turn.

• This photo of bears strapped to horses is no more amusing than the photo of a battered woman's face is. Tying a prey animal under a predator is as appalling as bear-baiting was three hundred years ago. But you knew that, right? And ran it just to be provocative? You win: I'm provoked. And you're disgusting.
