My God, Michael Steele Infecting Entire Republican Party With Rap Slang Circa 1991
Before Republican National Committee Chairman Michael S. Steele is finished, apparently, he will have each and every member of his caucus acting like an audience member at the Arsenio Hall Show. Winding up his rah-rah speech to the troops at yesterday's Conservative Political Action Conference, Steele said, quote:
- "Tonight, we tell America that Republican values, conservative values, are right for America," he said, admitting that the party has made some mistakes. "Tonight, we tell America: we know the past, we know we did wrong. My bad. But we go forward in appreciation of the values that brought us to this point."
To which Minnesota's Michele Bachmann, last seen accusing Democratic members of Congress, McCarthy-style, of being "anti-american," responded, according to CNN:
- "Michael Steele! You be da man! You be da man," she said.
If that isn't dun language, I don't know what is.
