The Mentalists Use iPhone Apps to Cover MGMT's "Kids," Prove Being MGMT Is Easy
Just hope they paid the licensing fee
All-girl British foursome the Mentalists figured out how to cover MGMT's "Kids" using only iPod/iTouch applications, so they put on crazy eye make-up and giant necklaces, and recorded a live version for YouTube. The resultant video succeeds not in interpretive transcendence, but in proving that all it takes to be MGMT are copies of Ocarina, Retro Synth, miniSynth, DigiDrummer Lite and some stupid outfits.
