From the People Who Brought You Asher Roth: Universal's Next Great White Hope
The angelic, mop-topped creature above is 14-year-old Justin Bieber, a young Canadian boy whom Universal is naturally putting in the studio with Usher, The-Dream, and Tricky Stewart, in hopes of making him a star. His debut already has a title and everything: My World. He was "discovered" by the soon-to-be-if-not-already infamous Atlanta A&R Scooter Braun, the man currently bringing you Asher Roth. Like Roth, Bieber caught his break when Braun flew him down to Atlanta, apparently A&R S.O.P. when discovering white-t-shirt-and-hoodie-clad hot commodities via MySpace. Totally unclear if this kid's any good, but merely to look at his handsome young features is to worry about Braun's life, which we fear might soon be taken by a rap fan who can't no longer stand the possibly endless parade of friend request-savvy Caucasian teenagers on which Braun has decided to stake his career.
