Bret Easton Ellis Still Has That Twitter Account
In April, New Yorker writer Dana Goodyear helped novelist Bret Easton Ellis set up a Twitter account, in a very Talk of the Town-type ("This is the real BEE," he wrote, and said aloud, "What should I put, BTW, FYI, OMG?") Talk of the Town piece. Since then, twitter.com/eastonellis has proceeded at a stately pace, clocking five entries in six or so weeks. Gaslight Anthem and Frightened Rabbit have featured prominently. Anyway, this is how we know that the above entry, complete with deadpan endorsement of his old Brat Pack buddy's new book, is not parodic. That and the fact that Slap Shot really is an incredible movie. Stay tuned.
