Finally, the Date-Rape-Song Charticle We've All Been Waiting For
Washington City Paper (great arts town!) is now offering a fabulous "hierarchy of date-rape jams," and while we're a little higher on Asher Roth (poor guy), a little lower on Sublime, and a lot lower on Rod Stewart, we applaud this first-rate speciment of graphics-based rock crit. Odd perhaps that Stone Temple Pilots' "Sex Type Thing" goes unmentioned, but maybe the word we're looking for there is "merciful."
