News Roundup: Kyp Malone, Wavves, Leonard Cohen
--Following the cancellation of a skatepark show in Los Angeles due to a broken wrist from, well, skateboarding, Wavves' Nathan Williams has posted a new, hand-clappy demo on his website, called "Mickey Mouse." Williams writes: "This was a demo that I never ended up coming back to and probably wont end up doing anything with but jam on it n-e-wayz."
--Leonard Cohen will return stateside for another leg of his first tour in 15 years. The 73-year-old plays New York again October 23 at Madison Square Garden. It's a little less intimate than Cohen's previously-played venues the Beacon Theatre and Radio City Music Hall, but we aren't complaining. It took a no-good thieving manager stealing the legend's money to get him back on the road to earn back his savings. See him while you can.
