The Wall Street Journal Gets a Kick Out of Jimmy Fallon Getting a Kick Out of ?uestlove's WSJ Portrait

Ha. The Wall Street Journal, a paper not always known for its sense of humor, apparently enjoyed Jimmy Fallon making fun of ?uestlove's dot drawing in the paper (internally known as a "hedcut," they tell us) on his show the other night so much they made a video out of the clip. And the drawing is in fact hilarious--?uestlove dressed incredibly nerdy in glasses and what looks to be a bow-tie, Chuck D looking on from the right in barely contained amusement. It's by way of promoting a panel on Lincoln Center next Tuesday called "Planet Hip-Hop," in which Sierra Leone rapper Bajah, Chuck, Quest, and Steve Stoute will discuss the future of rap. May the future of rap contain many more hedcut portraits of rappers in the Wall Street Journal.
